Writing in the Digital Age

ABOUT ME:

I am a 20 year old Junior. My major is PWR and I have a minor in COM. I am pretty active on campus. I am the VP of CSA (Caribbean Student Association). Right now we are working on our big annual fundraiser. We are raising money to help send Haitian kids to school and bring Wyclef on campus at the same time (for free). So, if you haven't heard about MUZIQ 4 THA CAUSE please come out and support. We'll have a lot of talent and a fashion segment. If you don't come you will hear about it and also we're taking donations so if you're interested in helping out a child, you can leave me a msg or email at cortlandcsa@cortland.edu. Now, enough about that. I am always fantasizing about this time next year because I'd be close to graduating so I guess that means I CANNOT wait to get out of SUNY Cortland and get my beautiful degree and go back to NYC and start my life. I am from Port-au-Prince, Haiti originally and I moved to the U.S in 1997 and I've been living here happily ever since. I transferred from LaGuardia Community College in Queens last year because I wanted to see what else was in New York. I had only passed places in upstate New York on my way to Canada so I never really experienced what it's like to live upstate. Well, now I know. I am now a townie in Cortland living amongst the rest of those who has decided to live off-campus. I must say, I like the privacy because I live alone but oh boy it gets really creepy at nights. Sometimes I could swear that there's someone here...whooshh....but there never is. Anyway, I am a fun loving person but I do have my moments were I can be less nice than usual but I think that is normal for everyone.

I think this class is very interesting to take but unfortunately it's not in a class so if you're reading this...I may not know you but it's all good please continue to read. I like what we have done so far because they are different from other assignments I've been given in previous and/or current courses.
