Day One

1. Join the Digital Age Ning community and the Writing in the Digital Age group on Ning.
2. Read the Syllabus, including the Course Schedule.
3. Customize your personal page on Ning, add a photo or image to represent yourself (keep in mind privacy issues), and post something introductory about yourself on your blog.

Week One

1. Start reading Clay Shirky's book.
2. Participate in the class discussion on the Writing in the Digital Age group page.
3. Prepare to begin our first assignment (the Web Identity Project).
