I am a middle school Spanish teacher.  I live in Cortland, and I teach in Moravia. 

I just finished my last day of work for the school year today.  I am ready for my few days off before I officially start school again.  It seems strange to be the student :-)  I have always loved being the student though. I feel almost intimidated just looking at the syllabus :-) This is my first class since I finished my undergrad work in 2003.  I am also taking Victorian Literature while I am in this class.  I jumped right in when it was time to go back to school :-)  I guess that is why I get a little intimidated when I look at the syllabus.

Personal facts.  I am a mother of three amazing children under the age of 5 (4 and a half, 2 and a half, and 11 months old).  My husband is also starting his graduate studies this summer.  I love sports.... I see that some of my classmates are coaches :-)  I played soccer, basketball, and ran track in high school.  I ran cross country and track and played basketball at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri.  I have run 1 half marathon.  a full marathon (when my first child was 13months old), and I am currently training for another marathon which I will run in October. 

This is my first time reading any Cyberpunk literature.  I have started Neuromancer. It is unlike anything I have read for my undergraduate classes, and it is unlike anything I have read in my spare time.  It is kind of a fun challenge to enter the Cyberpunk Literature world.
