This is Nick Hoffman's Page for Eng 585. There are many like it but this one is mine.
Here are my initial responses to the class readings. These responses tend to be in-the-moment, overwrought, slightly knee-jerky reactions to a specific instance in the text (usually, a point of disagreement or simple confusion on my part).
It is my goal to provide more measured, thoughtful, and considered responses to some of these texts before the end of this class. These responses will address the pedagogical implications of the author's ideas, and I will be thinking about translating their ideas into (or through) possible student assignments.
