I found Gibson to be very interesting in the way that he views society as an ever changing being.... but not just changing on its own, it changes through technology. He even mentions that "if" their are humans at a specific point in the future they would not recognize who we are today because they would have changed so much due to technology. It is like an evolutionary process that takes place through technology. He really seems to look ahead more than the great majority of us :-)
I found his thoughts about cities being natural because they are created by an animal to be very interesting. I have never thought about it in that light. I doubt many have. I can't get over how very different his thoughts are from the norm, and yet how normal he still seems.
